Kayaks are available for hire with the Jamieson River suitable for all levels. A hot-day kayak downstream to the Jamieson Brewery & Grill (with a return shuttle provided!) is a great way to work up an appetite.
The park is incredibly well-equipped to keep the troops entertained, with a solar-heated pool (warmer months only), table tennis table, volleyball and basketball courts, giant Jenga, playground, fire pits, free DVDs and book exchange.
