The Centre Against Violence (CAV) invites you to join them for a special vigil at King George Gardens.
This is a time to honour lives lost to family and sexual violence while coming together to share a message of hope and strength.
The vigil is part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign—a global call to raise awareness, spark conversations, and take action to end violence.
Special guest speaker Conor Pall, Deputy Chair of the Victorian Victim Survivor's Advisory Council, will share his powerful story and insights on creating safer, more respectful communities.
Come together to reflect, remember, and stand united for a brighter future, free from violence. Together, you can create change.
Thank you to Safe and Equal, Respect Victoria, and the Rural City of Wangaratta for funding this important project. A special thank you to Zonta and Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation for their support in making this event possible. Alongside their supporters Statewide Children's Resource Program, Junction Support Services, Upper Murray Family Care, Northeast Health Wangaratta and Victoria Police.
Together, you remember. Together, you stand.
