BRIGHT 

Bright is renowned for it's dazzling autumn colours, cracking food and drink scene, and adventure opportunities galore. 

Follow the rail trail from Bright to nearby Porepunkah for a cruisy roll with wine rewards. Pedal to leafy Wandiligong, or make a weekend of it and ride the 70km from Bright to Beechworth with an overnighter in cosy Myrtleford.

BEECHWORTH AND YACKANDANDAH 

Historic Beechworth and Yackandandah both punch well above their weight in the food and drink scene, and even more so in cycling. 

The newest section of the M2M Rail Trail connects the two townships with a cruisy 26km downhill roll – book a return shuttle back up the hill with The Bike Hire Company . The 15km descent from Beechworth to Everton is also a locals favourite.

Based out of Beechworth, Tour de Vines offer all-inclusive gourmet tours and Ride with OBG hire out eMTB bikes. Bridge Road Brewery have town bikes for hire too - enjoy a woodfire pizza and a brew at drop off.

MYRTLEFORD 

Nestled in the Ovens Valley, Myrtleford is home to vineyards, great spots to refuel and produce farm gates and hop farms as far as the eye can see. 

Myrtleford is a great spot to base yourself for bite size rides, popping into cellars doors and farm gates along the way. A stunning 24km pedal alongside the Ovens River will lead you to picturesque Porepunkah – an extra 6km push gets you to Bright's impressive dining scene and autumn colours.

RUTHERGLEN 

Home to award-winning wineries, restaurants and world-class local produce as well as some of the most picturesque camping, fishing, cycling, swimming and boating locations in Australia.

Hit the the Rutherglen to Wahgunyah section on the flat, sealed trail, taking in views of bushland and verdant farmland, popping into welcoming cellar doors along the way.

For extra zip, pick up an E-bike from Rutherglen Radler , based out of the impressive Convent Brewery .

MILAWA 

Explore the rich history and fresh produce of the Milawa Gourmet Region with a leisurely roll on two wheels.

For a glorious day out, roll from Beechworth down to Milawa and savour a 5 course degustation at the famed Brown Brothers Winery . Book a self-guided Tour de Vines tour or a shuttle with The Bike Hire Company for the return journey so you can enjoy a post-lunch wine tasting. 

WANGARATTA 

Enjoy an easy-breezy 17km pedal from Wangaratta out to Victoria's food bowl, the Milawa Gourmet Region, and stock up on incredible cheeses, baked treats, olives, seasonal fruits and cool climate Italian wine varietals.
