This 41.2km gravel loop serves up a great tasting of Beechworth's famous gravel scene. Starting in the heart of Beechworth, challenge yourself with 732m of elevation over a mix of quiet farm roads, bush tracks, rural roads and rail trail. Listen to the hum of your tyres and the calls of birds as you roll through scenic Chiltern-Mount Pilot National park. Take a small side trip to see the impressive Woolshed Falls and stop at Barking Owl Distilling Co. en route to refresh with local small-batch gin, vodka, liqueurs and brandy tastings in a converted 1950s shearing shed.
