Fly fishing instruction and guiding can be arranged for guests and visitors. Your guide, Andy Matenson, has over 20 years of professional guiding experience. He guides in Victoria's High Country, New England, and the Snowy Mountains. He is a certified casting instructor with the Fly Fishing Federation.
Riverdowns Fly Fishing have 600 metres of private frontage to the historic Howqua River, and are an easy drive to several other famous trout streams, including the Delatite, the Jamieson and the Upper Goulburn.
In a full day they can travel further and extend your fishing opportunities. They generally start at 8:30am and return late afternoon. You will get to explore local waters and extend your skills and knowledge of fly fishing.
All gear as necessary can be provided. Maximum three people. Lunch, tea and coffee is provided.
