The history of the region is mingled with the native bush, with relics of the past to be observed along the way. A variety of short walks on well-formed paths are part of the tour, though participants may choose to spend time relaxing on the riverbank.
The day will ensure participants see one/several huts of the High Country; a tunnel dug to assist in the search for gold; native Australian bush landscapes (flora and fauna); a river of the High Country and relics of the gold rush era.
