Dominated by typical farming countryside the ride climbs slowly up from Yea to Kinglake via the steep sided King Parrot Valley before reaching the highpoint of the ride atop the Kinglake Ranges. The views here on a clear day towards Melbourne make the effort worthwhile and there are numerous great eateries to visit at this midway point of the ride. The return leg is amongst similar country scenery, capped off, following a final climb, with great views across the area.

A huge 128km and 1400m+ of ascent make this a great loop ride into the Kinglake Ranges.
