With its isolated feel, tough climbs and incredible lake vistas, the Lake Road Loop is an exciting challenge for experienced, self-sufficient cyclists.

The Lake Road Loop is a mixed-surface ride over sealed roads, the High Country Rail Trail, variable gravel and softer soil-based paths along the tranquil shores of Lake Hume and the mountainous Jarvis Plateau. This route will challenge and reward riders with the climb to Jarvis Plateau and breathtaking views of Lake Hume and the Great Dividing Range. Riders must be self-sufficient. Refuel at Tallangatta's charming pubs and cafes after your ride.
