It’s 1 June 2020, a big day for many of us across the region with some cafes, restaurants, breweries and accommodation providers reopening their doors and welcoming visitors from today. For the High Country, it’s a positive step forward at a critically important time, which has been significantly impacted by some of the measures put in place to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19)…not to mention the bushfires from earlier this year.
From everyone at Ride High Country, we’d like to thank you for your support and the role you’ve played in slowing the spread of coronavirus. We know it hasn’t been easy. But hopefully time on your bike will help as we settle into the ‘new normal’.
We know that many of you will #RollOnBack to Victoria’s High Country from this upcoming long weekend and we look forward to welcoming you. Whilst our tracks, trails and road have never been in better condition, the way that you’ll be able to enjoy all the experiences across the region has changed. You’ll need to continue to practice social distancing, book ahead and plan to bring a bit more patience than in the past. If you need more clarification on current and planned restriction levels and what they mean for your holiday, please click here.
The path to recovery will be a long and potentially difficult one for us all, but knowing that we have your support means the world to all of us. Thank you.
