Ignition Mountain Bike Festival, Blue Dirt’s annual party that kicks off the mountain bike season at Falls Creek, is on again this November 18-20 and the earlybird tickets have just been released.
Despite some annoying interference from old mate Covid, this festival has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and the 2022 edition promises to be better than ever, with a full-on schedule of riding, chilling out and live music set to rock the resort over the three days.
Falls developed a further 11km of brand new gravity trails over the course of last season as Stage 5 in the MTB Park masterplan, but nobody’s ridden them yet. The Ignition festival opens the MTB season at Falls and is the first chance you’ll get to ride them.
Book a 3 day ticket to get early “first tracks” access on the Friday afternoon via the Blue Dirt shuttles (12pm-4pm), then keep riding and partying all weekend with what is – it has to be said – a packed schedule! Other single day options are there too, but you’ll want to be there the whole weekend this year.
