MILD TO WILD CYCLING ADVENTURES

The ultimate cycling destination, Bright is loaded with biking adventures for every style of rider.

One of Victoria's favourite holiday spots, Bright is renowned for it's dazzling autumn colours, cracking food and drink scene, and adventure opportunities galore. From the MTB park, road rides and gravel backroads to the family-friendly Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, this charming town is all about the ride.

Bright Mystic Bike Park

Mystic Bike Park brings the stoke with its famous pine lined trails. Take advantage of the year-round shuttles to maximise air time on the famous Hero Trail, flow down Shred Kelly or send it on the white knuckle ride that is Elevation.

Newer to riding or rolling with the family? The pretty riverside XC trails are great for kids or beginners. Bright township has a stack of eMTB and dual suspension hire options as well as great MTB lesson and tours.

Murray to Mountains Rail Trail

The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail offers unique and easy to ride sections of sealed, off-road riding taking in beautiful scenery, historic sites, wineries and more.

Ride the 12km return trip to Porepunkah, sample some produce, stop at a winery, grab a coffee, meet other riders and soak up the stunning views along the way. Feeling adventurous? Why not test those legs and take on the 70km to Myrtleford and back or the full 100+km to Beechworth or Wangaratta.

HIT THE ROAD

Whether it's taking on a challenging mountain climb or cruising quiet country roads, get ready to be rewarded with crisp alpine air and breathtaking scenery on the tarmac around Bright and surrounds.

The main township is a great base for taking on four of the popular 7 Peaks Challenge rides of Hotham, Falls Creek, Dinner Plain and Mount Buffalo, some of Australia's toughest road climbs.

Gravel Goodness

Bright's mountains and hills offer a perfect playground for endless gravel adventures. Grind up steep ascents and whoop as you take on thrilling descents.

Push yourself on the challenging Mt Porepunkah Loop in the heart of Bright for 360 degree views from the top of Mt Porepunkah. Self-sufficient riders will find the Bright - Mount Beauty route rewarding while traversing remote and spectacular bushland.

BIKE FRIENDLY STAYS

Whether you're travelling solo, with the family, or in a group of friends, Bright has a huge range of accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets.

Pitch the tent or rent a cosy cabin at the picturesque and central caravan park, dial up the romance at Deep Creek Farmstay , or hire out a whole home to share with family and friends. No matter which way you choose, the Bright locals will make you feel right at home.

TAKE A LOOK AROUND BRIGHT

Bright and bikes are a perfect match, and no one embraces it more than the locals.

For your morning caffeine fix, look no further than locals favourite, Sixpence Coffee . Later in the day, hit up Reed & Co. next door for an incredible distillery experience.

The popular Bright Brewery does great pub grub and craft brews with river views. Wine lovers can taste their way through cool climate varietals at the family-run Ringer Reef , just a short roll down the Rail Trail in picturesque Porepunkah.
