Key Features 

Send it on 28km of continuous excitement from Lake Mountain's summit to Marysville from November to April (dependent on snow). The Cascades Trail is the epitome of adventure, dropping 1,550m and climbing 500m.

A deep blue trail with advanced features, this 3 - 5 hour ride is a formidable challenge taking you over four types of dirt, steep berms, rock gardens, jumps and rollers. Make sure to bring plenty of snacks and water - it's gonna be a wild ride.

The Cascades Trail starts at the summit of Lake Mountain, 30 minutes from Marysville.

Note: This is a strenuous wilderness trail - you must bring your own water, high energy snacks and bike tools.

Trail Highlights 

Cascades Trail throws up a new challenge around every twist and turn as you descend from summit to valley:

  • Alpine granite - Climb to 1433m before sending it on hits, drops and rollers.
  • Alpine loam - Fern-lined hero dirt littered with steep berms, climbs and fast straight sections.
  • Gravel & rocks - Take on rock gardens and slabs plus gravel climbs. Don't miss a stop at the lunch room.
  • Valley clay - Descend into Marysville on tacky clay taking you over jump lines.
