This year-round resort transforms from a tobogganing paradise to a mountain biking playground every year. Ride seven alpine summit MTB trails from November to April (dependent on snow).

Located just two hours from Melbourne, Lake Mountain offers an unforgettable weekend MTB getaway. Ride beginner, intermediate and challenging technical cross-country trails plus the huge descent-filled Cascades Trail and an all abilities trail.

Trail Highlights 

  • Kestrel's Track | 2km - All-abilities adaptive MTB trail with a gravel base.
  • Lenny's Loop | 2km - Great beginner and warm up green trail. 
  • Granite Grind | 9km - Original blue technical, hand-built classic with great views and a raw, rocky surface.
  • Cascades Trail | 30km - One of Victoria’s best descent trails. 1550m of descent and 500m of climbing.
