Tallangatta 

Serene Tallangatta is a great base for outdoor family adventure.

Enjoy short, flat rolls perfect for picnicking on the 9.5km ride to Sandy Creek Bridge ride or the 9km cycle to Old Tallangatta. Keen for more? Continue pedalling 15km to Darbyshire to see the trestle bridges.

Relax fireside with great camping, treat yourself to a spa with lake views at The Good House or make Switchback Stays in close-by Bethanga your base and enjoy a wine tasting at Websters Estate. BYO your bike for self-sufficient rides or chat to Mt Beauty Transfers about private shuttles and hire. 

Corryong 

Feel a million miles away in charming Corryong in the heart of Cattlemen Country and the mighty Murray River.

Bring your bike and get back to nature on a 6km ride from Corryong to Mt Mittamatite Caravan Park. This perfect afternoon pedal offers safe and peaceful cycling and walking for all skill levels.

Shelley Station 

Ready for downhill rail trail thrills? Sitting at 779m above sea level, historic Shelly Station was the highest railway station in Victoria. 

After checking out the signage it's time for descent fun. The 43km Shelley Station to Tallangatta ride packs in a whopping 570m of sustained down over 20km past historic trestle bridges to the valley floor.

Base yourself in Tallangatta and organise a car shuffle with friends for this one or be prepared for a steep climb back.
